Atlas collects 35,000 euros for Cancer research

19 June 2012

On Wednesday 6 June 2012 Atlas Professionals participated in the Dutch cycling event called “Alpe d’HuZes” to raise funds for the Dutch Cancer Society by cycling up the Alpe d’Huez as many times as possible.

Achievement

The Atlas team, consisting of eight members, among them several Directors, cycled up a total of 18 times and collected more than 35,000 euros. “This is a great achievement for which we would like to thank all those who sponsored our team”, says Dirk-Jan van Leeuwen, Director at Atlas Professionals. “It was touching to feel the solidarity of this event. There was only one main goal: cycling up the Alpe d’Huez as many times as possible and to quit was not an option. I am very grateful that I could contribute to this foundation.”
